Admission Requirments

Admission requirements for fresh students

Fresh high school graduate students can be admitted according to the following:

1.  Obtaining a high school certificate of secondary education (Natural Science) or its equivalent from a school inside the Kingdom or abroad.

2.  Should not pass more than five years after obtaining the high school certificate of secondary education.

3.  Obtaining the required marks for high school certificate of secondary education, general aptitude test (from Qiyas) or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), and achievement test (from Qiyas).

4. Obtaining the minimum English proficiency skills required by each specialty.

5.  Show a good conduct.

6.  Should not be dismissed from other school due to disciplinary reasons.

7.  Passing any exam or interview required by the college for admission.

8.  Passing a medical test as required by each specialty by completing the medical examination at the approved hospital.

9. Should provide permission from his/her employer to continue as a fulltime student if he/she is working.

10. Pay non-refundable admission fee ( FEES PAGE ).

11.  Pay tuition fee ( FEES PAGE ) which is non-refundable if withdraw from the colleges

12. Satisfy any other requirements by the colleges that may be announced during admission period.

Note:

Admission to AlMaarefa colleges is very competitive.  It is based on the admission criteria.

Required documents:

1.  Original high school certificate (Natural Sciences).

2.  Copy of general aptitude test score and the achievement test score.

3.  Original copy of English Language test results –TOEFL/ ACADEMIC IELTS (if available).

4. Copy of valid ID with original for verification.

5. Copy of guardian’s valid ID with original for verification (only for female students).

6. Copy of the guardian’s family register (only for female students).

7.  Four recent 6x4 photos.

 

Admission requirements for transferring students

Transferring students from other accredited colleges/universities can be admitted according to the following:

1. Have studied at an accredited college or university.

2.  Satisfy the GPA for transferring students required by the college.

3. Obtaining the minimum English proficiency skills required by each specialty

4.  Show a good conduct.

5.  Should not be dismissed from other school due to disciplinary reasons.

6.   Passing any exam or interview required by the college for admission.

7.   Passing a medical test as required by each specialty by completing the medical examination at the approved hospital.

8. Should provide permission from his/her employer to continue as a fulltime student if he/she is working.

9.  Pay non-refundable admission fee (FEES PAGE).

10. Pay tuition fee (FEES PAGE) which is non-refundable if withdraw from the colleges

11. Satisfy any other requirements by the colleges that may be announced during admission period.

Students may transfer courses credits that he/she has studied and passed in accordance with the college bylaws.

Required Documents

3.  Approved academic courses specifications from previous university/college.

4.  Original copy of English Language test results–TOEFL/ ACADEMIC IELTS (if available).

5. Copy of valid ID with original for verification.

6.  Copy of guardian’s valid ID with original for verification (only for female students).

7.  Copy of the guardian’s family register (only for female students).

8.  Four recent 6x4 photos.

 

Admission requirements for health diploma holders (bridging students)

Students with health associate degree/diploma (three/two year programs after high school) from other accredited colleges/institutes are subject to the bridging regulations set by the Ministry of Education, and can be admitted to complete their BSc degree according to the following:

1. Should have completed a three-year associate degree or a two-year higher diploma from an accredited college/institute.

2.  Should apply to a discipline similar to his/her associate/diploma degree specialty.

3.  Should have valid professional classification from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

4. Obtaining the minimum English proficiency skills required by each specialty.

5. Show a good conduct.

6. Passing any exam or interview required by the college for admission.

7. Passing a medical test as required by each specialty by completing the medical examination at the approved hospital.

8. Should provide permission from his/her employer to continue as a fulltime student if he/she is working.
